    Hi Carson,

How does a home’s perceived value and return on investment compare between a vinyl deck and a composite deck? We are building a new home with a 23′ x 12′ covered deck attached to the house and are stuck trying to choose materials.

    Thanks!

Hey Julie! Remodelling Magazine just posted their 2017 numbers for the composite and the ROI is really high at over 71%. Vinyl, because of its longevity is absolutely comparable. Just make sure to avoid the white option. It is the hardest to maintain and keep clean. Any staining on the white will lower its ROI
