I am planning on replacing my front lawn with a pollinator garden (I have a backyard bee hive) next spring. I will be using the newspaper method to kill the grass this fall. However, my issue is I’m not certain on how to design an appealing looking country garden. The area I am dealing with is 53′ x 17′. The 53′ runs along the front of the house and is in full sun most of the day. I am wondering if you have any suggestions on how and what I would plant next spring to fill in this area. My back yard has Joe Pye, Milkweed, Zinnias and other similar plants. Thank you so much

Tricky question. The beauty of pollinator gardens are the swaths of flowers that look naturalized…and unplanned. The best designer is a gentleman named Piet Oudolf. oudolf.com
