Over the last few years of writing articles for The Chronicle Herald, I’ve had the pleasure of getting a lot of emailed questions from homeowners who needed some help with their garden or their landscape design. For the first time ever though, I had a reader track me down through my editor for a phone chat. As my editor put it, “God bless her” for that because I had an amazing conversation with my new friend Nancy from Dartmouth who did, in fact, have a question. Nancy wanted to know what to do with the “dang crows” that are tearing her yard apart.
